Description

USAID Power Distribution Program in liaison with United States Energy Association (USEA) organized a Utility Exchange Program in Istanbul and Ankara Turkey from November 1 2 - 19, 2011.Twelve delegates were selected from 9 DISCOs of Pakistan through a structured nominations and a selection process. The delegates visited the following number of power companies in Turkey: 1. BEDAS - Baskent Electricity Distribution Company, Ankara 2. TEDAS -Turkish Electricity Distribution Company, Ankara 3. AYEDA- Electricity Distribution Company, Istanbul 4. BEDAS - Electricity Distribution Company, Istanbul

The main focus of the Program was learning best practices and functions in Commercial Management, Financial Management and Customer Information Systems.
