Summary[edit]
Description14 stryker.jpg |
English: M1133 Medical Evacuation Vehicle Original caption: "The Stryker medical evacuation vehicle has the mobility to keep up with war-fighting forces. Moving at sustained speeds of up to 60 mph, it can evacuate four litter patients or six ambulatory patients while its crew of three medics provides basic medical care. Its centrally located medical attendant seat and high roof allow a medic to monitor medical equipment and provide some patient care (do CPR or start an IV, for example). Stryker also accommodates more medical supplies and equipment than its predecessor ambulances. The first Stryker MEVs were delivered to the Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Fort Lewis, Wash., in March 2003." |
