הערות: מתוך סדרת נופי צומח פרחים שושניים של עוזי פז. גיאופיט קטן, שכיח מאוד, הפורח בסתיו. היא נקראה בעבר בשם "בר-יורה". פורחת מאוקטובר עד דצמבר, בעיקר בנובמבר. צבע הפרחים לילך, גונם שונה מצמח לצמח, בהיר או כהה יותר. גדלה בקבוצות או בפרטים בודדים בשדות-בור ובבתה. היא נפוצה בכל אזורי הארץ הימתיכוניים. היא הוכרזה כצמח מוגן יחד עם כל בני הסוג סתוונית. השם "סתוניות" מופיע כבר בתלמוד (מסכת תרומות, דף י"א, עמ' ב'), אולם אינו מתייחס לשם צמח אלא לפירות המבשילים מאוחר.
