Deutsch: Das Gemälde zeigt (stellvertretend) drei der Märtyerer, in der Mitte ihr Anführer Achatius. Oben der geöffnete Himmel (nach der Legende: Engelsbotschaft), rechts im Hintergrund der Berg Ararat mit Dornbusch und Kreuzen. Bildunterschrift: "SS. XM. MM. O.P.N. = Sancti X Milia Martyres Orate Pro Nobis" – "Heilige 10.000 Märtyrer bittet für uns".
English: The painting shows (representatively) three of the martyrs, in the middle their leader St. Acacius. Above the open heaven (according to the legend: angels' message), right in the background Mt. Ararat with a thornbush and crosses. Subtitle: "SS. XM. MM. O.P.N. = Sancti X Milia Martyres Orate Pro Nobis" – "Saint 10,000 Martyrs pray for us".
