Description
Italiano: Statua del Scior Carèra (una scultura romana di età imperiale, usata in passato dai milanesi in modo analogo alla statua di "Pasquino" a Roma). Si trova sotto i portici di Corso Vittorio Emanuele a Milano (Italy). Il nome della statua ("Signor Carera") deriva dalla prima parola dell'iscrizione latina sottostante: "Carere debet omni vitio qui / in alterum dicere paratum est..." ("Non deve essere privo di difetti lui stesso / colui che vuole rinfacciare i difetti agli altri"...). Foto di Giovanni Dall'Orto, 5-5-2007.
English: Scior Carèra (an ancient roman statue, of imperial age), in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan (Italy). His nickname ("Mr. Carera") comes from the first word from the inscription underneath "Carere debet omni vitio qui / in alterum dicere paratum est..."
