English: CWGC gravestone of Sergeant Victor David Gee in the churchyard of St Bartholomew, Hanworth, Norfolk, England. Victor Gee was the son of Richard and Christina Gee of Hanworth. He attended Paston School in North Walsham. In 1938 he joined the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He was called up on 1 September 1939 did his flying training at FTS Sealand which he completed in June 1939. Victor was killed on 21 March 1941, when Bristol Beaufighter R2070 dived into the ground at Manor Farm, Eastergate, Sussex after stalling on on the approach to Tangmere. |
