演戲

江南の、とある廟前に設けられた舞殿の上で、今しも一齣の武戯が演ぜられてゐる。祈願成就か何かを祝しての奉納芝居であらう。水車のやうに振り廻す槍の手の鮮さに、群集は折柄の春雨も物かは熱（左上が幸）心に見物してゐる。之を見ても支那人が如何に芝居好きであるかゞ窺はれる。此種の舞台は日本の能舞台のやうに富豪の邸内にはよく設けられたあり、慶事でもある節には俳優を招いて公開する風習がある。（印画の複製を禁ず）
