English: ILUAMUTHU - இழுஅமுது , stone chekku oil. Stone chekku oil is considered to be the pure and 100% cold pressed oil. This is the traditional way of extraction of cold pressed oil. This comprise of stone mortar ( கல் உரல்) and wooden plunger (மர உலக்கை). The granite stone has the natural character or capacity to absorb heat from the surface and keep the surface cold, thus while extracting oil, the heat will be absorbed by the stone (உரல்) and the oil remains cold. This is called cold pressed oil. The nature(தன்மை) and qualities(குணங்கள்) of the oil will remain same and will not be affected or get changed in cold pressed process.
