Праотец Енос изображен в полный рост, в повороте к центральному образу; облачён в зелёный хитон и красный гиматий. В руке он держит развернутый свиток с текстом пророчества. Поля, фоны и нимб на иконе покрыты медным басменным окладом.

Енос — допотопный патриарх, сын Сифа, внук Адама и отец Каинана. Праведное поколение Еноса противопоставляется греховному поколению Каина, описанному в предшествующих стихах книги Бытия. В рассказе о Еносе повторяется родословие людей от Адама и, таким образом, возобновляется линия от допотопного человечества, которая была прервана убийством Авеля и продолжилась с рождением отца Еноса — Сифа.

Икона реставрирована в 1978–1979 годах в межобластной специальной научно-реставрационной производственной мастерской объединения «Росреставрация» Министерства культуры РСФСР бригадой И. П. Ярославцева.
English: Forefather Enos is depicted in full growth, turning towards the central image; dressed in a green chiton and a red himation. In his hand he holds an unfolded scroll with the text of the prophecy. The fields, backgrounds and halo on the icon are covered with a copper basma frame. Enosh is the antediluvian patriarch, son of Seth, grandson of Adam and father of Cainan. The righteous generation of Enos is contrasted with the sinful generation of Cain described in the previous verses of Genesis. The story of Enos repeats the genealogy of people from Adam and thus resumes the line from antediluvian humanity, which was interrupted by the murder of Abel and continued with the birth of Enos's father, Seth.
