Українська: Берегова ластівка (Riparia riparia) - маленький, стрункий перелітний птах з довгими крилами та характерною темною смугою на грудях. Ці птахи мають землисто-коричневе забарвлення зверху та трохи темніший хвіст та крила. Берегові ластівки відомі своїми соціальними звичками гніздування - вони можуть гніздитися великими колоніями, що налічують від декількох десятків до кількох сотень пар, залежно від наявного простору. Гнізда розташовані в кінці тунелів довжиною до 1,5 м, які вони викопують на схилах річок, у піщаних кар’єрах, гравійних ямах. Гнізда вистелені рослинністю та пір’ям. Цю гніздову колонію зафіксував на урвищах р.Случ в Рівненській області.
English: The Sand Martin (Riparia riparia) is a small, slender bird with long wings and a distinctive dark band across the breast. It has earth-brown or greyish-brown upperparts and a slightly darker tail and wings. Sand Martins are social nesters, with colonies ranging from a dozen to several hundred pairs, nesting at the end of tunnels up to four feet long in sand pits, gravel pits, and sea cliffs, lined with vegetation and feathers. This nesting colony was recorded on the cliffs of the Sluch River in Rivne region.
Deutsch: Die Uferschwalbe (Riparia riparia) ist ein kleiner, schlanker Vogel mit langen Flügeln und einem charakteristischen dunklen Brustband. Sie hat erdfarbene oder graubraune Oberseiten und einen etwas dunkleren Schwanz und Flügel. Uferschwalben sind gesellige Nesterbauer, die in Kolonien von einem Dutzend bis zu mehreren hundert Paaren nisten, am Ende von bis zu vier Fuß langen Tunneln in Sandgruben, Kiesgruben und Meeresklippen, ausgekleidet mit Vegetation und Federn. Diese Nistkolonie wurde an den Klippen des Flusses Sluch in der Region Rivne entdeckt.
Polski: Jaskółka brzegówka (Riparia riparia) to mały, smukły ptak z długimi skrzydłami i charakterystycznym ciemnym pasem na piersi. Ma ziemiście-brązowe lub szarobrązowe wierzchnie części ciała i nieco ciemniejszy ogon i skrzydła. Jaskółki brzegówki są społecznie gniazdującymi ptakami, z koloniami liczącymi od kilkunastu do kilkuset par, gniazdującymi na końcu tuneli o długości do czterech stóp w wyrobiskach piaskowych, żwirowych i na klifach morskich, wyścielonych roślinnością i piórami. Ta kolonia lęgowa została zarejestrowana na urwiskach rzeki Słucz w obwodzie rówieńskim.
