Summary[edit]

Description
English: Ecoducs (or Wildlife crossings) known in French as “lombriducs”, are designed to allow worms and other invertebrates to cross man-made roads and paths (here: Urban Park, in Lille, North of France). The ground which is in this reversed U-shaped passage is the original ground and was not moved nor rammed during the construction of this artificial crossing. This passage is intended to decrease the contribution of the path to the ecological fragmentation of the local landscape and biotype.
