Description
English: "Freedom Of The Seas" passing Hythe Pier The "Freedom of the Seas" was built at the Aker Finnyards drydock in Turku, Finland, which is also building the other ships of the Freedom Class. Upon her completion she became the largest passenger ship ever built, taking that honour from Cunard's "Queen Mary 2". This picture was taken on her first visit to Southampton prior to her first transatlantic crossing.
