  •  Oppose There is nothing prohibiting what could be commercial advertising I guess, but I'm not sure we should encourage it, should we? Worth a discussion. Charlesjsharp (talk) 10:48, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Support Useful and used. If we wanted to exclude any risk of potential advertising, we should not show photos of cars or motorcycles, cameras, etc.; but then the Commons would be a lot poorer. -- Spurzem (talk) 12:55, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment As Spurzem says, photos of products are useful. Charles, would you oppose a photo of a particular make of car or model of a ship or airplane? Then how does it make sense to oppose a recognizable example of a flavor of coffee served by a famous chain? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:58, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment Sure, I understand, but this is a coffee cup used for the 2021 Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew? So how do we know what's in the cup? Charlesjsharp (talk) 09:00, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • Do you mind clarifying your question? If it helps, the whipped cream with brown pumpkin spice powder on top is characteristic of the iced Pumpkin Spice Latte. The cup is generic, used for all cold drinks at Starbucks. --JimmyStardust (talk) 12:55, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
      • I've struck my oppose as I'm not sufficiently bothered. If the topping is the only thing that identifies this as the particular drink, then why would you take a VI photo of a take-out cup with the plastic lid on so we cannot see it? this web page has a photo which could be VI.
