Comment Do we all agree this a valid scope? Charles (talk) 11:47, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Why wouldn't it be? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 13:42, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Comment It just seems a bit vague like 'abandoned bicycles in London'. And they're not ships, but fishing boats. Also, the condition of the boats change every year as they rot away - see the images of the same boats from 2001 and 2007. Having a VI of a rapidly decaying anything is fraught with problems like 'abandoned elephant carcass in ...' Charles (talk) 15:09, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You make very good points Charles. Do we have a case here for an age-related VI - could the scope be changed to "Abandoned fishing boats in Salen, Isle of Mull - June 2016"? Thus allowing for scopes to cover them in various stages of decay. DeFacto (talk). 16:28, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The problem is greatest for portraits of people. How many VIs should we have for Winston Churchill. See talk page everyone. Charles (talk) 17:30, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
