Info - This is the P. cersifera pissardii variety, with redish leaves, but I don't think the scope should go as far -- Alvesgaspar (talk) 22:00, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Comment A narrow down to the flowers scope would be more fitting. The photo does not illustrate a plum tree. -- Slaunger (talk) 20:37, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment - OK, I have narrowed the scope as suggested. But if the picture is promoted it will be a precedent in having more than a VI for each species. Nothing wrong with that, as in many cases (not only with trees) it is not possible to show the whole plant and the details of flowers and leaves in the same picture. Still, they are both important for identifying the species. -- Alvesgaspar (talk) 21:52, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose I do think more than one image can be justified to illustrate a species, especially when dealing with photographis media. When a good scheme is available, a single image is often enough. Sorry to keep bothering you with this one; I do think it is (just) the best illustration of the flowers, but concerning the leaves, they are not seen very well. To show the leaves I actually think Image:Prunus cerasifera var atropurpurea3.jpg is better. I would support a flowers only scope. -- Slaunger (talk) 21:10, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
