Reason | The Romanesque monastery church ruins of Paulinzella, founded around 1105 as a hermitage, is one of the most important Romanesque buildings in Germany. The half-timbered administrative building on the left, which dates from the Reformation period, indicates the later history of the site. According to the evaluation of the WLM main jury, the important architectural-historical witness is fully depicted and the different stages of construction are displayed. The complex is well built in the photograph and presented in the right light, so that the viewer experiences the entirety of the building. -- Radomianin (talk) |
