  •  Info Nerita sanguinolenta is an endemic species of the Red sea. In the last decades it immigrated to the Mediterranean via the Suez Canal. 1939 it was found at the southern entrance of the Suez Canal and in the Great Bitter Lake, 1969 at Karpathos, Greece, and 1994 at Tobrouk, Libya.
