 Info The shell comes from Tamil Nadu, India. It was not collected by me, so the exact georeference of the origin is not availaible (like about 2.500 shells I already published in the past ten years - see here). All these shells are part of my colletion (as mentioned in the file description). Should I give the geotag of my collection, i.e. the same geotag for all these shells? Most of the photos are already VIs without georeference. Georeference is useful for e.g. buildings (where can I see them?) but makes little sense for specimens in collections. Also old specimens in museums, for example, collected 1850, can be very useful, but you will never get the exact georeference of the provenance. --Llez (talk) 05:10, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
