Reason Exceptional document IMO, I've nominated it as FPC. Illumination representing Jesus, in a carolingian parchment manuscript, the Godescalc Evangelistary dated 781 - 783, commissioned by king Charlemagne, twenty years before he was nominated Emperor. Very carefully restored by me. Original file available on description page, with a link to BNF explanations (in french). Home work, no geocode is needed. -- Jebulon (talk)
