The be honest, I am not sure if the scope I propose is spot on. I am not very knowledgable about cars myself. Especially I am in doubt about the relevance of the 21 it appears that the later DS 23 introduced in 1973, did not look any different, but has a larger 2.3 l electronic fuel injected motor instead of the 2.1 l on the DS 21? I found a photo of a similarly looking model on flickr and asked the creator if he knew about visual differences between the DS 21 and 23. He was uncertain but thought it could only be seen on the engine. Else the scope could be broadened to something like "Citroën DS Cabriolet, 1967-", as the headlight design was changed from round design to the "shark" look design in 1967, with a "follow in curves" mechanism. For the category as such in the current scope, there is also a nice series of photos of a white model from a car exhibition, but I think the nominated photo has more value, as the car is in an elegant French urban setting fitting for the car model. Seems more in vivo-like/visually appealing. -- Slaunger (talk) |
