- Neutral Good photo, but the right hand disturbs me --Llez (talk) 08:04, 28 April 2024 (UTC)

- Oppose As Llez said, hands bother me, both. Also i would crop botom, above elbow. Aperture could be closed a bit. --Mile (talk) 08:44, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- By cropping it, you would lose that long elegant line that makes this portrait so special. There is a hint of John Singer Sargent to this. --Cart (talk) 09:10, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- Could be, but is she modeling for wardrobe or this will be "her portrait" for Infobox or similar. Since is "Mitzi Akaha" is more about her face. --Mile (talk) 09:52, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- She is an actress appearing for the film Chaperon, in which she plays one of the leading roles, at a film festival. Actors and actresses use their whole body and their body-language as tools, they are not just "pretty faces". I don't see why a photo like this could not be in an infobox. On the other hand, it is not necessary for an FP to be the lead photo in an article. Most wikis use rather unflattering passport-style photos for that. Artistic photos of actors and singers can be used in articles, like this Valued image of Cohen (at least until he died and the en-wiki article went passport again).
- I've taken the liberty to update the info on the file page; most people (and search Bots!) don't read or follow the categories the photo is in, so it is good to have as much info as possible in the description slot. --Cart (talk) 12:26, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- For me, this image is much beter. On en.Wiki, yes, they will cut her to mugshot, because... I told them sometime that is not good. But they keep scissors sharp. Frankie, isnt that photo beter ?! Just clean some dust on her, for me thats FP. --Mile (talk) 14:28, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- She is probably doing her best for the cameraman in that photo, but for me, I had hoped that wiki portraits of women had evolved beyond that 50's pin-up-gesture with a woman holding her hands over/on her head, while giving the man behind the lens a sultry look. That gesture might be ok for actresses like Marilyn Monroe or Dita Von Teese who have made 'sexy' their trademark, but not otherwise. Try the same gesture with a man and see what you think of it. --Cart (talk) 14:57, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- Support Impressive and interesting portrait. Please don’t crop it, Commons is not a mugshot repository. IMHO also more interesting than the mentioned alternative. – Aristeas (talk) 17:59, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose The placement of her hand bothers me. Wolverine XI 19:35, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose Per above, strange pose Poco a poco (talk) 20:00, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
- Support This is the kind of portrait I would like to see more of on FP. Thanks for nominating it, Frank! And yes, I definitely prefer it to the mentioned alternative, which is just cliché and not a living image. --Kritzolina (talk) 08:57, 1 May 2024 (UTC)

- Support Nice portrait, and from her pose and look you can immediately tell she is a professional model/actress. The internet is full of diverse pictures of her from many domains: lifestyle, fashion, cinema, commercials, etc. This portrait is candid and stands on its own. Besides the perceived candor I feel a touch of flirting/teasing/playing, also some deliberately played shyness, in her eyes and smile, all in an elegant way. Overall, she is is elegantly playful here. --Argenberg (talk) 01:07, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
- Weak support per Llez but the expression and colours are too good not to feature. Argenberg explains it well. Cmao20 (talk) 15:23, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
