A squirrel on a snowy branch in the city
  • That would give it almost the same tight crop as most FPs of squirrels as well as ruin the 'light and space' of this photo. I think a bit of diversity in animal photo compos is great. If this was our only FP(C) of a squirrel, a crop might be considered, but they are common animals with lots of FPs and photo opportunities, allowing for some creativity. Also a crop makes it harder to identify the pattern in the background as a building. It would look just like some undefined obscure object/fence/grate/whatever and the whole idea with the image would be lost. --Cart (talk) 17:18, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks for the suggestion, but more or less in line with what cart says, that would put the photo in a different category in which I don't feel like it works as well. — Rhododendrites talk21:02, 6 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
