- Oppose -- Nice and correct portrait. But nothing special justifying the FP status, either in the subject or in the photo. Alvesgaspar (talk) 00:26, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
- A real rationale in which way this file does not meet the FP criteria (or is worse than some of people's FP) would be appreciated. - A.S. 07:20, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry, but I can't be more specific. A picture may be rejected for technical flaws but the lack of technical flaws doesn't mean automatic promotion. As we all know the success of a nomination is often dependent on the presence of some 'magic touch', the so-called wow factor. In my opinion, that is not the case here. Sometimes the subject, or shooting conditions, are so rare that justify the promotion of an otherwise common picture. But that is not the case either. Did the explanation help? - In theory yes. Albeit I know a lot of cases where quite average pictures got an FP, but I suppose that it is sometimes just enough to mobilize a bunch of "friends". Otherwise I have no explanation of the fact that my candidatures are being decided by one or two people. - A.S. 13:53, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
