- Info -- Sorry, but no freedom of panorama of the Eiffel Tower lighting! This picture won't survive much longer on Commons, I'm afraid. Alvesgaspar (talk) 09:17, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
- Comment Yes, and there are, again, many files to be wiped out in that category. Sting (talk) 10:13, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
- Info here is only to see the standard lighting. Not as dynamic light show, which is protected. I think only dynamic sound and light show may be copyright. --Ritchyblack (talk) 09:37, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose, non-free image per French law[1] --Sasha Krotov (talk) 09:32, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
- Comment It's complicated (copyright madness case really) ... I think lots of thoses cases were deleted (as we used to say the light of Eiffel tower are copyrighted), and are now restored because it has not been proven in court the lightning of the Eiffel tower is copyrighted. PierreSelim (talk) 10:12, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose The whole image looks out of focus (see top of tower, basin, cars). There's blur + noise + some aberrations in the lights. --Paolo Costa (talk) 12:41, 19 January 2012 (UTC)

- Copyright (called droit d'auteur) in France is not something you register, it exists just because of creation of the artwork and the paternity part is inaleniable. Pictures of the Eiffel tower by night were partly restored (or totally). The court cases used to rule those files were copyrighted concern only the special light show of an event. - +1. Cf. Commons:Non-copyright restrictions too. Cdlt, VIGNERON (talk) 19:05, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
