- Oppose Blurred tail, very little portion of the image is covered by the subject. Uninteresting composition (I'd prefer a photo like this). --JDP90 (talk) 16:36, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
- Comment The males have a 'hook' like extension on the end segments; females lacks it. So this is a male. They perch on plain ground or on twigs under very bright lights. (My dragonfly works are not detailed enough for an FP here; but with more DOF to describe the subjects in Wikipedia. They are taken at 866 mm from a distance.) - Yes; your photo is not detailed enough but I was talking about DoF and composition which is very good in the photo. -- JDP90 (talk) 17:58, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the information Jkadavoor, i shot when this dragonfly perched on the small rock by the stream. --Cj.samson (talk) 18:15, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
- Weak oppose A nice capture, but just not enough "wow" to be an FP in my opinion. Michael Barera (talk) 23:16, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
