Oppose The detail level, light and colors are good, but the close proximity to the tower gives so much geometric distortion that it spoils the experience for me (and I will not ask for the standard "please correct the perspective", as I am not sure it will make sense in this case). The foreground building structures does not do much good to the composition either. It appears for me, see e.g. File:Santa Francesca Romana 09feb08 02.jpg that other shooting locations are possibe, where a better view to the tower is achieved.
