how to create?[edit]
How do I create one of these? I need one with Hawaii in green, but I don't even see a good image of the Pacific Islands here.
I would also love to know how to create these! No comments with specifics anywhere. Thadk (talk) 07:19, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, a comment on how these were created would be greatly appreciated. ⇔ ChristTrekker 14:54, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- I don't know much about myselve but all the images have a set of links which could help. Here they are:

- I've seen the notes about GMT, and may even noticed those links to datasets before, but the images in this category are simple political (not topographical) maps. That's the dataset needed. ⇔ ChristTrekker 19:23, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, after downloading and trying to build GMT, I noticed in the documentation that the political map data is included. So just get yourself GMT and you should be able to create maps like these pretty easily. ⇔ ChristTrekker 20:10, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
