English: "The user can suit his own individual taste.
Well seeing that I have the watch tonight I rate “liberty” tomorrow and I intend doing a little shopping. I’ve saved a few pennies with the intention of having some khaki uniforms made. I understand they are exceedingly cheap and quite superior in quality and workmanship to the uniforms issued us. The officers, however, don’t approve of this practice for the enlisted personnel. It makes them look too well, in most cases it makes the private look better than the officer. Well I think I’ll close. I’ll write again in the next few days. Love Ed" From the Edward L.
