English: "They were taken December 6, and they have finally caught up with me. I’ll mail one to you in the next few days, providing we are allowed to send pictures through the mails.
Our present routine is rather dull. Work, work and more work, but I believe everyone understands the end toward which we are working and in view of that end the dullness and monotony is forgotten. In the near future I think someone is due for a very rude shock. I have received several letters from Mother but they are not in sequence. Her latest letters arrive first, followed by the earlier ones. I’ve gotten around quite a bit since this show started and in the course of my journies I ran into Fritz Payne. You remember Beanie.
