| Description |
On 4 August 1942 the Auckland company, LD Nathan & Co wrote to the Devonport naval base about shipping supplies to the Fiji Defense Force. These materials were intended for keeping shipping channels around Fiji clear for allied naval vessels, and Nathan’s were asking for help with transport for this consignment. The flags on this letterhead are interesting, one incorporates the United Tribes flag, and the other appears to combine the Tricoleur with the Union Jack.
