Carissima Mariuccia,
(Camillo sta bene, saluta i suoi). Questa volta sono certo che ti possa giungere. Dico questo perché è già la terza volta che ti scrivo nel giro di tre mesi ma ancora non ho avuto notizie. Quanti mesi sono che non sappiamo più nulla di noi, non è difficile saperlo, quante cose sono successe in questo frattempo, molte e quante novità… Come stai … Come te la passi…Hai sofferto in questi lunghi mesi… il “ciapinello” come sta… è molto cresciuta; ora che cammina sarebbe un vero piacere d’essergli vicino ed io vivo per questo ed ho sempre sognato la fine di questa odissea per raggiungere ed accarezzare questo dolce sogno che vive ed arde costantemente nei miei sentimenti. Anche papà sta bene, nessun cambiamento. Ho tante cose da dirti e ti vorrei dire, ma aimè, non riesco a collegarne una. Prima cosa: di me nulla di cambiato, salute ottima, mi trovo bene e me la passo discretamente; ti penso e ti ricordo sempre sogno e fantastico quante belle cose direi al “ciapinello” come trascorre la giornata e quanto ti darà da fare, vero, “ranin”. Attendo con viva ansia tue notizie che mi parlino di te e specialmente del “ciapinello”; nel foglio che troverai alla destra di questi invierai tutto quanto di notevole e di più interessante sia successo in questo frattempo. Con certezza che quanto prima avrò queste notizie, che da otto mesi in qua ho sempre sognato, abbiti tutti i miei bacioni e tutto il mio affetto. Al tesoruccio tanti bacioni e papà saluti.
