| Description |
Deutsch: Ungefährer Transportweg der alten Pummerin im Jahre 1711. Es wird berichtet vom "Stadttor beim roten Turm". Alle guten Quellen beziehen es auf die "obere Fallen" / das Fischertor. Es hat einen einzelnen breiteren Bogen, die "untere Fallen", das spätere neue Rotenturmtor dagegen zwei. Es wird auch berichtet, dass schon lange Zeit vorher ein Handwerker den Auftrag erhielt alle Gewölbe vom Roten Turm (später altes Rotenturmtor) bis zum Stephansdom zu kontrollieren und notfalls zu verstärken. Es bestünde noch die kleine Möglichkeit, dass etwas in der Linie der mittelalterlichen Stadtmauer abgebrochen worden wäre (was auch 1710 noch nicht im Plan verzeichnet ist) und der geplante Weg geändert wurde, dann hätte man nicht durch den roten Turm müssen. Das ist mit den zwei kleinen Abzweigern angedeutet. Die Werstatt ist absolut im richtigen Rechteck knapp oberhalb der Ulrichskirche. Ausschnitt aus: Grundrissplan von Wien mit seinen Vorstädten und dem Linienwall. 1704 (1706 gestochen und gedruckt) Kupferstich, Maßstab 1 : 5400, Ausrichtung nach Ostsüdost. Erster exakter Plan von Wien, der auch sämtliche Vorstädte umfasste. |
