Museum of Marrakech: Le musée de marrakech constitue une excursion depuis marrakech tres interessante, il est logé dans le Dar Menebhi Palace, construit à la fin du 19ème siècle par Mehdi Menebhi. Le palais a été restauré avec soin par la Fondation Omar Benjelloun et converti en musée en 1997. La maison elle-même représente un exemple d'architecture andalouse classique, avec des fontaines dans la cour centrale, des salons traditionnels, un hammam et tilework complexes et des sculptures. grand atrium du musée (à l'origine d'une cour, maintenant recouvert de verre et tissu) contient un très grand morceau de plafond lustre-esque hung central composé de plaques de métal décorées avec de fines coupes géométriques et épigraphiques. Plusieurs caractéristiques de la cour d'origine, y compris les bassins et les mosaïques de sol-set ont été retenus. Le musée possède des expositions d'art marocain à la fois moderne et traditionnelle avec de beaux exemples de livres historiques, des pièces de monnaie et des poteries d'origine juive marocaine, berbère et cultures arabes. |
