Deutsch: Die Grafik veranschaulicht die Entstehung der Jahreszeiten. Die Drehachse der Erde ist um etwa 23 Grad geneigt und zeigt immer in die gleiche Richtung. Deswegen entstehen im Verlauf eines Jahres bzw. einer Sonnenumrundung die vier Jahreszeiten. Am 21. Juni ist der Norden der Erdkugel der Sonne am stärksten zugeneigt (= Längster Tag bzw. Sommeranfang in Europa) - dagegen erleben die Australier auf dem südlichen Teil der Erdkugel die längste Nacht (= Winteranfang). Am 21. Dezember ist das genau umgekehrt.
Zweimal pro Jahr gibt es ein Datum, an denen der Tag und die Nacht gleich lang sind. Diese Tage sind der 21. März - dann beginnt bei uns (in Europa) der Frühling – und der 23. September, an dem der Herbst beginnt. Da die Umlaufbahn der Erde relativ kreisförmig bzw. wenig elliptisch ist, spielen die unterschiedlichen Entfernungen zur Sonne kaum eine Rolle. |
