Summary
[edit]DescriptionA-blitzed-area-in-Genoa-1942-391766815144.jpg |
English: Blized area in Genoa. Dammage resulting from repeated R.A.F. raids on Genoa photographed by the R.A.F. film production unit during the november 13/14 blitz on Italy's important industrial city. War factories, shipbuilding works, dockside instalations, warehouses, goods yards and railway tracks were damaged. The Ansaldo fitting-out yards were hit again in several places by H.E. and incendiary bombs. The goods station near Stazione Brigniole was damaged. The film unit worked by the light of incendiary bombs and the raging fires they started. |
