• In this case, it's not so tricky to remove the green. You start with a color replacement brush and dip frequently in the non-green color next to the areas you want to change. Set the brush to soft, 80% opacity and flow at about 90%. Once you got the color right, dust over the areas with a soft clone brush set to about 50% opacity for some texture. Use the sand texture below the bird. Waft around with the brushes until you are satisfied. This is what I got rather quickly by doing this.
