Note: This template can be used in conjunction with {{Taxoconflict}}, {{Taxa}}, {{Genera}}, {{Genera2}}, {{Species}}, {{Species2}} and {{Subspecies}} with parameter "source=NCBI" (See here the different values for source)

Syntaxe
{{NCBI | id | description }}
Parameters
  • id
the id of the taxon on NCBI web site.
How to retrieve the id: In the url www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Taxonomy/Browser/wwwtax.cgi?mode=Tree&id=9606&lvl=3&p=has_linkout&lin=f&keep=1&srchmode=1&unlock the id is 9606
Sample (for Homo sapiens): 9606
  • description
The name of the taxon with its author (don't forget italic for genus and species)
Sample (for Homo sapiens): ''Homo sapiens'' Linnaeus, 1758
  • checks=no (optional)
This template compares the parameter <speciesId> with the property P685 stored in wikidata.
When different, a maintenance category is added.
checks=no disables this test when {{NCBI}} does not describe the taxon described in wikidata (Happens when there are multiple call to {{NCBI}} on the same category/gallery, mainly in monotypic taxons)
