Description
English: Former British and Empire heavyweight champion Tommy Farr, photographed at the height of his career in the 1930s
Date Scanned on 4 Jan 2009. Background retouched 22 May 2012. Date of original estimated as 1937.
Source Author's scan from a 1930s postcard which has been in my family's possession since before WWII when it was given to my father, who was born in Clydach Vale and went to the same school as Tommy Farr.
Author Bjenks made the scan. The original photographer is not identified on the postcard which bears the handwritten message 'Best Wishes Tommy Farr'

Pending any possible challenge to the ownership of the original of this unique unattributed image, I release my scan of it under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0
