Summary[edit]
DescriptionQueen of Spain Coat of arms.png |
English: Personal Coat of arms of Sofia, Queen of Spain (Unofficial)
Español: Escudo de armas personales de la Reina Sofía de España (Atribuido, no oficializado)
Français : Blason de la Reine d'Espagne (Non-officiel)
The coat of arms impales her husband's arms with her family arms, the arms of her father King Paul of Hellenes. The family coat of arms isn't quartered paternal with maternal grandfather's arms (as usual in Spanish heraldry) because her mother was Queen Consort so the Paternal shield is preferenced.
