Quick correction to the blurb - they're not all 335th. The lead is a 335th F-15E (you can see if you look closely), and the one immediately "below" is from the same wing ("SJ" on the tail) but you can't see the number on the fin. The badge painted on the front, however, shows it to be of the 336th (compare). The one below that is "NY", a F-16 of the 174th Fighter Wing and thus presumably the 138th Squadron. The top pair are hard to read - the uppermost one I can't make out - but the F-15C seems to be with the 53rd Squadron - so it looks like each one from a different unit! Per [1], all of these were with an enlarged 4th Fighter Wing. Shimgray 00:46, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

(Pedantic, I know, but I remember noting it when I put this image in an article ages back...)

Bizzare. I could have sworn I got a protection notice... Shimgray 00:35, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

size and tint[edit]

Almost the same as Image:USAF F-16A F-15C F-15E Desert Storm pic.jpg save for the size and tint . I disagree with this. The size is the same, and there's a LOT more than just a tint done to improve the image. The editor has done a magnificent job to bring the quality of the original out: de-graining, and blemish removal, as well as rebalancing the image. you only have to compare the two to see that.
