Acre or Akko or ‘Akka, but not Accra[edit]

Accra is the capital of Ghana (in West Africa). Don't confuse it with Acre in Israel. Can you correct this? Johanna-Hypatia (talk) 07:13, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oops! Now corrected=; thanks. Classical geographer (talk) 19:10, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Position of the Karakorum[edit]

The position of the Karakorum is wrong. – Bronger (talk) 07:50, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Bronger, can you give more details? The main source for the original map (see links in the SVG version) has disappeared, and the most reliable source left only has Polo go up to Etzina, not Karakorum. However, the location of Karakorum seems to match this map - halfway Polo's main route and Lake Baikal. Classical geographer (talk) 08:33, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Seemingly similar comment moved from File page: کراکورم درین نقشه درست نشانی نشده در منطقه که کراکورم نوشته شده منگولیا یا مغلولستان است امید است که دقت نمایید. (copied by Classical geographer (talk) 18:37, 15 October 2013 (UTC))[reply]

Hangzhou[edit]

The position of Hangzhou is too far south on this map. It should be near the mouth of the Yangzi River. That dot where "Hangzhou" is now should be Quanzhou (Zaitun). Underbar dk (talk) 17:17, 28 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
