Passt du es in der Beschreibung auch an oder soll ich das tun. Eine andere Möglichkeit wäre einfach die Angabe von trachemys scripta, da ist man auf der sicheren Seite (die Unterarten sind ohnehin eng miteinander verwandt und können sich wohl auch vermischen), allerdings sind die roten Seitenstreifen zumindest innerhalb von Trachemys scripta ein klares Identifizierungsmerkmal.--Kmhkmh (talk) 13:41, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, i think this is Trachemys scripta troostii. troostii looks very similar to elegans - but the red part isn't really red... more brown and will be darker, when the turtel get older. Christoph (talk) 07:28, 12 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
