2024 is the grace year. 90 years ago was 1933. The plus one is 2024. Like how 1928 was 95 years ago. But it’s not public domain until 2024, 96 full years.
And I think generally using {{PD-old-auto-expired}} is better versus the 1923 variant. It’s more up to date with the standard dates of public domain. I don’t mean to be preachy on it, I just like to advocate for using it despite the same functionality. MonkeyBBGB (talk) 02:34, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
