Anachronism[edit]

Hi! The present map shows the territory of Northern Bulgaria and Eastern Rumelia separated and as a part of the Ottoman Empire. In fact Eastern Rumelia ceased to exist in 1885 (see Bulgarian unification), and Bulgaria became independent state in 1908 (see Bulgarian Declaration of Independence). In 1912 these two territories were one internationally recognized sovereign state. I'm going to fix this anachronism. Best wishes, Bulgarian Herald (talk) 17:02, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
