Somaliland

Other countries that have secessionist regions (e.g., China, Georgia) have those regions highlighted in a different colour to the country as a whole to show that there are regions which that country claims but does not control. Somaliland declared independence in 1991 and has not since then been controlled by any Somailan national government, yet this is not reflected in the map. Why is Somalia different?
