resolved: That was a mistake on Audobon's part. I granted rights to publish that image for print and web in this article to csm retroactively. Wwcsig 20:57, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

No attribution, no reference to GFDL, (C) statement 'Copyright 2008 by National Audubon Society', and given the csmonitor article above audubon seems to sell (or at least give away) the right to the image. Wwcsig 19:48, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Update: Actually this page (http://www.audubon.org/news/pressroom/WatchList2007/BirdList.html) is a press kit for reporters to download high resolution (yet badly compressed) versions of the images from.
