Wrong translation

The translation of the Arabic text is false. The alleged first sentence here is

This question was presented by Mr. Ahmed Darwish and it concerns [name obscured] whose religion was Islam and his nationality is Egyptian. He married a German Christian and the couple agreed that the husband would join the Christian faith and doctrine.

But the Arabic text says

Question by Mr. Ahmad Darwish brought forward by Mr. [name obscured], a German citizen. A man of Muslim religion and Egyptian nationality married a woman of Christian religion and German nationality. The couple agreed, that the mentioned Muslim would join the Christian religion and belief.

Thus, the "obscured name" (in fact, it's User:Orientalist [1]) is neither Egyptian, Muslim, nor is he subject of this document, but the messenger. The subject of this document is anonymous ("A man ...").

No, there is not at all any ambiguity concerning the fact (as far, as this document in itself is authentic, of course...), that the "obscured name" (de:user:Orientalist) was the one, who put forward this request to the Fatwa Council of al-Azhar. He did this in order of German-Egyptian Ahmed Derwish. This is, what stands in the Arab text without any ambiguity, and it is the plot, the user "Orientalist" tells us in the German Wikipedia (the German translation [2] of this document is true, as far, as I can see) -- Arne List 17:41, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
