Here is the text of my e-mails to the webmaster of dukerisst.com.


I really liked your photo of the Qasr Amra, located at http://www.dukerisst.com/World%20Fotos/Jordan/QasrAmra/Main.jpg. I found it very informative and useful. I'd love to use it in a project I'm involved with called Wikipedia, so I'm seeking your permission. Wikipedia (http://www.wikipedia.org) is a free encyclopedia that is collaboratively edited by volunteers from around the world.

Hey durkerisst, thank you for your reply and I appreciate you allowing us to use the image, but for us to be able to use the image, it must be released under the GFDL (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GFDL for more info about it). This allows derivative works, and it allows sites that mirror our content to also use the image. If releasing it under that license is not acceptable to you, I fully understand and thank you for your time. If it is, please e-mail be back to confirm that it is released under the GFDL. hi greg, all my work published at www.dukerisst is under the GFDL. so if you need any image frm my site be free of using it for wikipedia.
