This picture is sowing confusion because this is a soroban (1+4), not a suanpan (2+5). It is possible that Chinese suanpan users nowadays use sorobans, but I doubt it. I do know that may Chinese still use the suanpan (2+5).

Also, the title of the picture should be "soroban" instead of "abacus" even if a soroban is an abacus. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Axd (talk • contribs) 07:54, 25 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
