Rook?[edit]

This drawing looks much more like a rook than a raven. Did the artist misunderstand something? /Pontus 12:00, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps it's related to the French translation of the poem The raven. The title of the translation is Le Corbeau, and as I understand it, corbeau can refer to almost any species in the genus Corvus (in which rook is included), whereas raven has a more precise meaning, namely the species Corvus corax. /Pontus 13:14, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
